Epic Games opposes Apple's request for US judge to vacate App Store injunction

( November 8, 2024, 02:40 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Apple's request for a California federal judge to vacate or narrow her injunction against Apple’s anti-steering rules " is a last-ditch effort to avoid or further delay a reckoning for its ongoing non-compliance with the Court’s Injunction," Epic Games argued. In its opposition to Apple's motion for relief from the judgment, Epic said the smartphone maker had made an "extraordinary request" by moving to vacate an injunction that was entered following a trial and affirmed on appeal, and that the en banc Court of Appeals and Supreme Court declined to review.  See court document. ...
