UK pornography platforms must comply with age guidelines from January, says regulator

The regulator highlighted it expected the government to commence the part of the act that applies to online pornography services in January 2025, around the same time it will publish its final guidance on what constitutes highly effective age assurance.UK publishers of pornography online are expected to implement “highly effective age assurance tools” from as early as January, the national online safety regulator, Ofcom, told MLex....
