Clean fuels for shipping need EU investment, Clean Maritime Fuels Platform says

The EU should promote investment in renewable and low-carbon fuels and should expand "existing funding mechanisms for refueling and recharging infrastructure," its statement reads. "The objective should be to create a European manufacturing capacity capable to match the EU demand for clean shipping fuels in Europe as much as possible," adds the platform, which is composed of EU shipowners and fuels lobbies.Press release follows.
