KKR, Singtel's acquisition of STT GDC shares receives Indian conditional approval

By Freny Patel ( November 5, 2024, 23:01 GMT | Insight) -- Global investor KKR and Singapore Telecommunications have received conditional approval from the Indian antitrust watchdog for the proposed acquisition of a stake in STT GDC, a Singapore-based data center provider with a global presence, including operations in India. The Competition Commission of India cleared the proposed $1.3 billion transaction late Tuesday evening, according to a statement released by the commission.
