Google seeks summary judgment in Rumble's US antitrust suit over search, YouTube

( November 1, 2024, 21:12 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex summary: Google asked a California federal judge to grant the company's motion for summary judgment in Rumble's case alleging that Google Search is "rigged" in favor YouTube. The US Court of Appeals for Ninth Circuit has never recognized self-preferencing as exclusionary conduct that violates Section 2 of the Sherman Act, and factual record shows none of Google's Android agreements require YouTube exclusivity, Google said in a motion for summary judgment filed in the Northern District of California.See attached file....
