Thalia wins German approval to acquire buecher.de assets

The Bundeskartellamt focused its review on the procurement market for books where Thalia plays an important role for publishers. But it ultimately concluded that the deal wouldn't pose any competition concerns due to the presence of other strong buyers or buyer groups, as well as the much larger online rival Amazon, according to antitrust head Andreas Mundt....
