China's SAMR promotes 'service-oriented law enforcement' in market regulation

The new guidelines, coupled with a set of enforcement codes, aim to address issues such as formulaic, profit-driven enforcement and overly aggressive enforcement, Kuang Xu, director of SAMR's Law Enforcement and Inspection Bureau, told a press briefing late last week.
