( October 30, 2024, 14:23 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Canada’s Competition Bureau has recommended that provincial and territorial governments consider mandating the supply of pet medications to pharmacists. The bureau published an analysis of the pet pharmaceutical sector examining the business practice in Canada of “exclusive distribution,” where pharmaceutical manufacturers sell only to distributors, and distributors sell only to veterinarians.
