Japan's LINE Yahoo is progressing with preventive measures after breach, PPC says

The Personal Information Protection Commission said that LY Corp is progressing with moves to separate its authentication system from the systems managed by its Korean parent company Naver and its affiliate Naver Cloud. The PPC has asked LY to submit a new report by Dec. 27 and will continue to monitor the tech company's implementation of improvement measures, the regulator said.
