Nokia, patent owner Wireless Alliance announce settlement days before planned jury trial in Texas federal court

( October 28, 2024, 10:10 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Wireless Alliance and Nokia jointly moved to stay all deadlines for Nokia in a patent case heading to trial Nov. 4. In a filing with the court, the parties said they reached a settlement in principle that resolves “any claims against Defendants resulting from use of Nokia’s cellular infrastructure equipment, including any claims for damages for such infringement, but does not affect Wireless Alliance’s claims against Defendants’ use of cellular infrastructure equipment provided by others.” See document below....
