Cartel whistleblowers may see submissions shared with criminal enforcers, EU court opinion says

However, Advocate General Maciej Szpunar cautions that such transmissions should still protect the whistleblower's interests, and documents that are normally considered on a disclosure "blacklist" should not be shared to other parties involved in litigation.An Austrian construction company’s whistleblower evidence to cartel investigators can be shared with criminal prosecutors because EU law doesn’t address this question directly, according to a legal opinion for the EU’s highest court....
