Postel faces EUR900,000 Italian GDPR fine

( October 22, 2024, 17:51 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Postel, a provider of business management services, has been fined 900,000 euros by the Italian Data Protection Authority, for failing to address a known security issue that led to a ransomware attack last year. The breach exposed the personal data of 25,000 individuals, which was later published on the dark web, the regulator said.
