( October 18, 2024, 23:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- The Tribunal for the Defense of Free Competition (TDLC) approved an extrajudicial settlement between Chile's National Economic Prosecutor's Office (FNE) and copper cable producers Cocesa, Nexans, Covisa, and Colada Continua. The agreement concludes an investigation into a collaboration among the companies for joint copper rod production through Colada Continua. The FNE had raised concerns about coordination risks, citing shared demand projections among the companies.
