7 Malaysian warehouse operators fined for price fixing in Port Klang

( August 9, 2021, 04:25 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Seven Malaysian warehouse operators have been fined a total of over 1 million ringgit ($237,000) for fixing prices related to cargo-handling services at Port Klang, the Malaysia Competition Commission, or MyCC, announced today. The regulator said the fines, ranging from 26,363 ringgit to 336,369 ringgit, took the current situation into consideration and do not exceed 10 percent of the companies’ worldwide turnover. The seven companies are: Regional Synergy, WCS Warehousing, Pioneerpac, Interocean Warehousing Service, Intrexim, SAL Agencies and Prima Warehousing.The full decision is attached....
