Plaintiffs argue Amazon, Capital One can't escape data breach case

( June 2, 2021, 22:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Plaintiffs suing Amazon.com and Capital One over a data breach filed oppositions to summary judgments. They argued that Amazon assumed had a duty to act with reasonable care to protect plaintiffs’ information because it should have made sure its networks were secure and have been aware of various threats to the security of Capital One’s data.
