Vodafone Spain pays EUR96,000 fine for breaching GDPR

( August 4, 2021, 08:51 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Vodafone Spain has paid a fine of 96,000 euros imposed by the national data protection authority for violating Articles 6 and 17 of the GDPR. The telecom operator, without sufficient legal basis, had processed personal data and failed to fulfil the data subject's right to deletion, the regulator said. The company was initially fined 120,000 euros, but the regulator reduced the fine after Vodafone made a voluntary payment.The document is attached (in Spanish)....
