Jimmy John's employees denied class certification in US no-poach suit

( July 30, 2021, 23:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A proposed nationwide class of Jimmy John's employees, who are suing the company over alleged no-poach agreements between and among franchises, was denied certification by the judge overseeing the case. US District Judge Nancy Rosenstengel found that the no-poach contracts were enforced inconsistently across the company. With many questions surrounding how individual class members were treated, Rosenstengel found that the class failed to prove that its common issues were superior and predominated issues pertaining to individual class members. See document below. ...
