China International Marine Containers hit with SAMR fine for not notifying China Fire Safety Enterprise deal

( August 2, 2021, 02:18 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China International Marine Containers (Group) has been fined 300,000 yuan ($46,433) by the State Administration for Market Regulation for failing to notify its acquisition of a 30 percent stake in fire engine manufacturer China Fire Safety Enterprise Group. In a penalty decision dated July 5, 2021, the regulator said the deal had met the notification threshold, but had no anticompetitive impact.
