US House Energy and Commerce Republicans unveil Section 230, content-moderation discussion draft package

The package includes bills creating carve outs to the immunity protection for certain types of content, as well as bills requiring online platforms to undertake certain content-moderation practices. “Big Tech has failed to promote the battle of ideas and free speech by censoring political viewpoints they disagree with," said Washington Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers, the ranking committee Republican.
