Spanish website owner gets EUR500 GDPR fine

( July 29, 2021, 12:07 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Spain’s data privacy regulator has fined the owner of a website 500 euros for violating Article 13 of the GDPR. The AEPD said the web page veteyasanchez.es fails to properly identify the data controller and the users’ rights. The website is an online store connected to the non-profit organization Unidos por España, and collects data via a contact form. Justifying the small size of the fine, the regulator said the infringer is not considered a large company and that it hasn’t violated the GDPR before.The enforcement document in Spanish is attached....
