German fishery sector can get compensation for Brexit losses, EU says

( July 29, 2021, 11:52 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: German fishery sector companies that made losses because of the UK's withdrawal from the EU can benefit form a state support plan, the European Commission has said. Brexit had resulted in quota share reductions, and the 5 million-euro program will compensate businesses that suffered a minimum of 30 percent of losses in January, February and March compared to the same period averaged across 2018 to 2020.Press release follows....
