Schoolbag maker Fond Of fined in Austria for dictating prices, banning online sales

( July 29, 2021, 09:01 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Fond Of, a maker of schoolbags and related accessories, has been fined 340,000 euros by Austria's competition-specialist court for imposing fixed or minimum retail prices between 2012 and 2019, the national antitrust enforcer said today. The products in question included Satch and Ergobag, the agency said. In addition, traders were prohibited from selling Fond Of goods online between 2012 and 2016, the office said.
