Gerco Fit, Body Tonic Shop each get EUR2,000 GDPR fine in Spain

( July 28, 2021, 16:54 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Fitness companies Gerco Fit and Body Tonic Shop have each received a 2,000-euro fine from Spain’s privacy regulator for breaching Article 6 of the GDPR for unlawfully processing the personal data of a complainant. She agreed to communicate her data only to the company that owns the Vasco Andaluza sports center, not to the rest of the companies belonging to it, Gerco Fit and Body Tonic Shop, the regulator said in its enforcement decision. Vasco Andaluza de Inversiones was also fined 2,000 euros as part of the same complaint.The documents (in Spanish) are attached....
