White House issues new critical infrastructure directive

( February 12, 2013, 20:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The White House has whittled down to 16 the number of critical infrastructure sectors subject to uniform policies, approaches, guidelines, and methodologies for integrating federal infrastructure protection and risk management activities. Presidential Policy Directive 21 also directs other federal agencies, in addition to the Department of Homeland Security, to participate as "sector specific agencies" in making critical infrastructures more secure and resilient.See attached document....
