Mastercard and Visa are being targeted by the UK arm of US electronic payment services provider Euronet Worldwide, which operates cash machines, for hundreds of millions of pounds in damages for losses due to alleged anticompetitive arrangements for cash-machine transactions in the Czech Republic, Poland and Greece.
