Meta says US FTC still withholding answers about market definition in social network monopolization case

( June 1, 2023, 02:29 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Meta Platforms has asked a federal judge to order the US Federal Trade Commission to answer its deposition questions relating to the agency's market definition in an antitrust lawsuit against the tech giant over its allegedly illegal monopolization of the social networking market. In a joint status report, Meta said a witness provided by the FTC failed to provide any further information beyond what it has already submitted to the court, based on undisclosed 'misgivings,' which obstructed the deposition. For its part, the FTC says Meta has no legitimate complaint about the testimony, and that further response is unwarranted.Court document attached....
