Campania environmental protection agency gets Italian GDPR fine

( January 14, 2021, 16:44 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The regional environmental protection agency of Campania, known as Arpac, has been fined 8,000 euros by the Italian data protection authority for violating the GDPR. The agency was fined after a hard drive containing personal data was stolen from a room to which all employees had access, the regulator said. The authority said that the agency had failed to adopt the appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure data security.The decision is attached (in Italian)....
