Airline Condor may receive EUR525 million in Covid-19 support, EU says

( July 27, 2021, 07:29 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: German charter airline Condor will be able to receive German compensation worth 204.1 million euros for damages resulting from restrictions imposed to limit the spread of the coronavirus, the European Commission said today. The commission also approved restructuring aid of 321.2 million euros. Today's package reflects a ruling by the EU General Court, which scrapped the commission's approval of damage compensation in the form of two loans for the March 17-Dec. 31, 2020 period.
