Gesterpool receives Spanish GDPR fine

The company, while providing commercial and telephone sales services to utility company Naturgy, was appointed as a data processor, the regulator said. During its investigations, the watchdog found that Gesterpool had subcontracted another company for data processing activities on behalf of Naturgy without getting the latter's prior knowledge or consent.
