US trade office won't take action against Vietnam over currency practices

( July 23, 2021, 20:03 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: An agreement between the US Treasury Department and the State Bank of Vietnam is a "satisfactory resolution" in an investigation over the Asian country's currency practices, the Office of the US Trade Representative announced. Accordingly, USTR said it won't pursue trade actions but will monitor Vietnam's implementation going forward.  Statement and document follow below....
