Security providers lose appeal against Italian cartel fines

( July 23, 2021, 10:20 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Five private-security providers in Italy have lost their legal challenges at the Rome Administrative Court against cartel fines of more than 30 million euros, which the national competition watchdog imposed in 2019. The companies — Allsystem, Coopservice, Italpol Vigilanza, IVRI and Sicuritalia — were fined for restricting competition during 10 public tenders by way of subcontracting and temporary grouping of companies.
