Louisiana Children's Medical Center, HCA Healthcare seek expedited status conference in suit against US DOJ, FTC

( May 26, 2023, 10:26 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Louisiana Children's Medical Center and HCA Healthcare submitted a supplemental US court memorandum arguing that because a District of Columbia federal court granted their request to transfer a parallel case to the Eastern District of Louisiana, justification for an expedited status conference in Louisiana is even stronger.  "A status conference would aid in assessing the viability and practical implications of coordinating the pending and anticipated motions across all of the cases, and comports with this Court’s protocol of convening a status conference before motion practice," the parties wrote.See attached document....
