Bavarian company sees GDPR fine lowered by court

( July 13, 2021, 08:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: An unnamed company in the German state of Bavaria has seen a data protection fine lowered by 65 percent, to 7,000 euros, the state regulator said in its 2020 annual report. The initial penalty of 20,000 euros was issued in 2019 after the authority held an unannounced on-site inspection and the business refused access to its premises and data-processing systems.
