( May 25, 2023, 22:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Consumer plaintiffs bringing US antitrust claims against Qualcomm said the company is turning a blind eye to the evidentiary record supporting exclusive dealing claims – instead making the blanket claim that because the court didn't permit an update to their damages data, plaintiffs have “no evidence supporting a standalone exclusive dealing claim.” Plaintiffs opposed a summary judgment, arguing that there are triable issues of fact as to whether Qualcomm’s exclusive dealing arrangements with Apple and Samsung foreclosed a “substantial share” of the relevant chipset markets to rival chipset manufacturers and prevented those competitors’ entry into that market.See document below....
