Google's $23 million privacy settlement over search terms granted preliminary US approval

"The Settlement is hereby preliminarily approved as fair, reasonable, and adequate such that notice thereof should be given to members of the Settlement Class," Davila said in an order granting preliminary approval.  See order below....
