Google's $23 million privacy settlement over search terms granted preliminary US approval

( May 26, 2023, 00:11 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Google's $23 million settlement resolving privacy claims over users' leaked search queries has been preliminarily approved by US District Judge Edward Davila in San Jose, California. "The Settlement is hereby preliminarily approved as fair, reasonable, and adequate such that notice thereof should be given to members of the Settlement Class," Davila said in an order granting preliminary approval.  See order below....
