Auror crime-reporting software didn't need privacy assessment, Australian police chief says

The Australian Federal Police’s Neil Gaughan told a parliamentary hearing that a privacy-impact assessment wasn’t required because the images collected by the Auror software were comparable to those collected by surveillance cameras.
