Facebook-Cambridge Analytica litigation gets special discovery master

( July 20, 2021, 22:54 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A special discovery master has been appointed to handle ongoing discovery disputes in class action litigation against Facebook over the Cambridge Analytica data privacy leak. Daniel Garrie of JAMS will issue rulings on discovery disagreements that the parties cannot resolve informally, and both sides will split the costs evenly, US District Judge Vince Chhabria said in an order.  Any appeals of Garrie's decisions will be handled by US Magistrate Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley, "and her ruling may not be appealed to the district judge," Chhabria said.  Please see document below: ...
