US Office of Personnel Management litigants reach impasse in data-breach settlement talks

( July 20, 2021, 00:51 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Litigants in an ongoing lawsuit over a data breach suffered by the US Office of Personnel Management told a federal judge today that settlement talks "have reached an impasse on one issue in particular." The two sides earlier this year announced an agreement in principle. "Given the time the parties have devoted to settlement," the parties say the next step should be a referral to a district court judge for a settlement conference.See attached document....
