Auror crime-intelligence platform faces Australian privacy scrutiny

In an Australian Senate budget estimates hearing this week, Deputy Commissioner Elizabeth Hampton responded to concerns over the platform’s similarity to facial-recognition company Clearview AI and said the regulator was at the start of its inquiries.
