Chile's TDLC approves settlement between FNE, Hernán Büchi in 'interlocking' case
( November 17, 2022, 18:06 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Chilean competition tribunal has approved a settlement agreement between director Hernan Büchi Buc and national competition authority Fiscalía Nacional Económica (FNE). Büchi was under investigation for engaging in a "horizontal interlocking" — when the same person works simultaneously in two or more competing companies as a director or in other relevant executive post. Büchi was working at the same time as a director at department store chain Falabella, bank Banco de Chile and financial services firm Consorcio Financiero.
