Virginia governor signs law requiring age verification for pornography sites

( May 12, 2023, 22:02 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin has signed a bill that requires users to verify they are 18 years old before being allowed to enter pornographic websites. Under SB 1515, adult websites must require users to provide government-issued IDs, biometric scans or submit to age verification software, if at least 33.3 percent of their content can be considered "material harmful to minors." See document below....
