Restaurant Xastre Do Peto pays Spanish GDPR fine

( November 11, 2022, 17:29 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Restaurant Xastre Do Peto has paid a 3,600 euro GDPR fine imposed by the Spanish data protection authority for unlawful processing of data. The company had asked a data subject to provide personal data in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, but the legal basis for collecting data was no longer valid, the regulator said. It also found that the company failed to provide the data subject with sufficient information on data processing and on his or her right to object.
