Consultant Nicki Lum Davis says she wouldn't have pleaded guilty if she had received effective counsel

( November 15, 2022, 22:11 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Nicki Lum Davis would never have pleaded guilty to charges of undisclosed lobbying if not for the ineffective advice of counsel, according to new filings in her effort to withdraw the plea. Her former lawyer, Abbe Lowell, was being investigated by the very prosecutors who were charging her, the filings say. The documents come ahead of a hearing in December to determine whether the conflict is enough to allow for her to withdraw the plea.See documents below....
