USCIT finds partially for Ancientree Cabinet, Cabinets to Go in antidumping case, remands to US Commerce for further explanation

( July 12, 2021, 15:19 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Court of International Trade found partially in favor of plaintiffs Ancientree Cabinet Co. and Cabinets To Go concerning whether wooden cabinets and vanities were being imported from China at unfair values. The CIT remanded part of the US Department of Commerce's final determination for further explanation of its changes in calculation methodology from its past decisions using Sigstrat's financial statements. The CIT otherwise found in favor of Commerce's selection of Romania as primary surrogate country and Commerce's selection of HTS headings for surrogate value inputs, stating that these selections were based on sufficient evidence to proceed.See document below....
