Chinese critical-information infrastructure operators brace for cybersecurity requirements

( November 14, 2022, 07:12 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The national standard that sets out cybersecurity requirements for operators of critical information infrastructure, or CII, in China will take effect on May 1, 2023, according to TC260, the country’s standard-setting body on information security. The full text of the standard was recently made publicly accessible on the national public-service platform for standards information. The standard aims to establish security requirements for the operation of CII stipulated by the country’s cybersecurity law and the regulations on the security protection of CII that took effect in 2017 and 2021, respectively.
