China's communications regulator publishes second list of apps accused of data-collection abuses

( January 8, 2020, 08:19 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology today published a second list of 15 mobile apps that have engaged in inappropriate data-collection practices. The apps include news aggregator Yidian Zixun and coffee shop chain Luckin Coffee. The regulator set a deadline of Jan. 17 for the apps to improve their practices.The statement can be found here....
