US Commerce assigns antidumping duty rates for synthetic rubber from Czech Republic, Russia

( November 10, 2022, 21:23 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Commerce Department has issued the final antidumping duty rates for emulsion styrene-butadiene rubber (ESBR), a synthetic rubber often used to produce tires, imported from the Czech Republic and Russia from Oct. 1, 2020 to Sept. 30, 2021. ESBR from the Czech Republic has been assigned an antidumping duty rate of 8.04 percent. The Russian group of companies collectively identified as SIBUR has been assigned a 17.47 percent rate; the Russian companies collectively identified as TATNEFT has been assigned a 8.15 percent rate; and all other affected Russian companies have been assigned a 11.90 percent rate. As part of the investigative proceedings, Commerce analyzed and revoked Russia's status as a market economy.See documents below....
