Facebook succeeds in getting law firm for consumer plaintiffs disqualified in social media monopolization lawsuit

( July 14, 2021, 06:30 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Facebook has had its request approved for the disqualification of law firm Keller Lenkner LLC from representing consumer plaintiffs in a social media monopolization lawsuit at the US District Court for the Northern District of California. Facebook argued that the law firm failed to disclose in a timely fashion that one of its lawyers previously worked for Facebook on investigations that resulted in two lawsuits brought by the US Federal Trade Commission and state attorneys general. Judge Lucy Koh ruled that while there was no evidence that any confidential information had been disclosed, the firm still had to be disqualified.Court document attached....
