Reven Holdings, lamenting devalued IP, seeks review of partially denied request to lift asset freeze

( August 9, 2024, 10:10 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Two appeals by Reven Holdings and others of adverse rulings in a lawsuit by the US Securities and Exchange Commission over efforts to mislead investors were consolidated Friday at the US Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. In the first, filed in May, Reven challenges an asset freeze entered in March; the second, filed last week, involves the biotechnology company’s thwarted bid for a lift of the same asset freeze in order to pay patent maintenance fees, explore licensing opportunities and conduct clinical trials on their drug Rejuveinix. US Judge Daniel D. Domenico of the District of Colorado granted the request in part but denied Reven “free reign” over assets based on plans he called “vague.” Domenico additionally refused to stay the freeze during Reven’s appeal.See document below....
