British Airways, Qatar Airwaves, Iberia authorized to coordinate on Australia-Europe routes

( May 12, 2023, 01:39 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: British Airways, Qatar Airways Group and Líneas Aéreas de España (Iberia) have been authorized to coordinate air-passenger services on routes between Australia and both the UK and the European Union. In a statement, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said that the proposed conduct would be likely to result in public benefits in the form of enhanced products and services offerings, cost saving and efficiencies, as well as increased competition.
